Although he had everything his heart desired, the prince was spoiled, selfish, and unkind to people around him to be abusive at times, except to his closest friend, Orion Pax. One night, an elderly woman came to the castle, seeking shelter from the bitter cold. She offered Megatron a single rose made of glass, but Megatron's anger somehow made him cast the woman out, however, Orion apologized and he welcomed the woman inside as he and his fiancé Ariel were worried about the old beggar woman. But just as Megatron was about to have the woman cast outside his castle, her ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress who can see if pure hearts are in people or not. When she had seen that there was no love in Megatron's heart, she transformed him and those who all lived in the castle into giant robotic beasts. After
